Everyone is welcome to visit BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir — known to Londoners as Neasden Temple — to receive his darshan and blessings. No registration is required for entry.
Seating in the main assembly hall is limited, so certain events carry priority seating for registered participants, such as children on Bal-Balika Din. Everyone else remains welcome on those days: when the hall reaches capacity, overflow seating is opened where the programme is shown on large screens.

We strongly encourage public transport. The nearest Underground stations are Wembley Park and Neasden, and the 224 and 206 buses stop on Brentfield Road directly outside the Mandir.

Open the Journey Planner →ULEZ. The Mandir falls within Transport for London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone. Vehicles that do not meet the required standards, and are not exempt, will incur a charge to drive inside the zone. Check your vehicle on the TfL website.
Limited parking is available across the road from the Mandir complex. Additional parking is provided at satellite sites, from where a shuttle runs to and from the Mandir until 10.00pm.
Please cooperate with the parking volunteers when directed to an external site. Car sharing and public transport are encouraged throughout.
A shuttle operates to and from the Mandir from 4.45am to 8.30am.
Car parks are expected to be extremely busy at weekends and on bank holidays. Shuttles run from 4.45am to 8.30am and from 3.15pm to 10.00pm.
* IKEA car park. All vehicles must be removed from IKEA by 8.30am at the latest by those attending morning Puja Darshan. Vehicles parked at IKEA must display a Vehicle ID Card, obtainable from volunteers.
No accommodation is available at the Mandir, but a range of hotels and rental lodgings sit nearby at varying prices. These can also be searched through Booking.com, Hotels.com and similar services.

The Mandir is a sacred house of God and a place of daily worship. To preserve its sanctity, and so that everyone can enjoy its atmosphere, all visitors are asked to observe the following throughout the complex.
Tops must cover the shoulders, chest, navel and upper arms. Leg-wear must be at least below knee-length.
Small palm-sized purses and wallets may be brought in. Large bags and cameras are not permitted — please deposit them at the Baggage Cabin in Yogi Hall, opposite the Mandir on Brentfield Road, and remember to collect them as you leave.
It is customary to remove footwear on entering any part of the Haveli complex. Shoe racks are provided throughout.
Seating in the main assembly hall is limited, and chairs in particular are allocated first come, first served. Overflow seating with large screens is available. Please follow the volunteers’ guidance.
Children are welcome. Visitors aged 16 or under must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
No food or drink is allowed on the premises. Please discard chewing gum before entering.
Photography, videography and audio recording anywhere within the Mandir complex is strictly prohibited.
Please respect the volunteers serving to keep everyone safe and comfortable. The Management reserves the right to refuse admission where guidelines are not followed, and entry may close at short notice if capacity is reached.
Children are more than welcome. Mahant Swami Maharaj holds that the Mandir belongs to them as much as to anyone else — these arrangements are here to make the day easier for families.
Please do not leave young children unattended. Any child found alone will be returned to their parents immediately by a volunteer.
The small crèche near the mahila foyer serves as a nursing room for mothers and babies. Only mothers may enter.
The Reception Hall is an unsupervised family area for changing, feeding and play, freely available to mothers and fathers alike. A microwave is available there.
Baby bags are not permitted in the assembly hall — please store them in the crèche or Reception Hall. A small bag of toys and essentials may be taken in provided it sits in your lap.
Please fold prams before storing them in the Reception Hall, so that as many as possible can be safely accommodated.
A seating area is reserved for mothers with babies during daily puja darshan and most evening programmes, nearest the mahila corridor doors for ease of entry and exit.
An artificial grass area in the mahaprasad marquee is set aside for children to eat on.
Bag checks are in place at every entrance. The following may not be brought into the complex, and leaving them at home will make your arrival considerably quicker.
